Housekeeping Supervisor
Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive offices, workstations, conference halls, cafeteria, and similar establishments. Assign duties inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. may purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily meeting with Housekeeping Executive / Client representative, briefing to the staffs, daily rounds.
- To ensure required cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all work area and public areas in accordance with correct procedures and administration
- Establish and maintain housekeeping schedules and assign employees to areas for various housekeeping duties; conduct comprehensive inspection to check the completion of work assignments.
- ensure that assignments are appropriately staffed and that employees have adequate supplies and equipment for completion of assignments.
- Discuss general housekeeping procedures with personnel of the assigned area; recommend and implement changes in procedures. Maintain records and submit reports concerning personnel, equipment, supplies, expense, and general housekeeping activities.
- Recommend various personnel action including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.
- Monitor and ensure the training of new personnel.
- Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
- Coordinates work activities among departments.
- Conducts orientation training and in – service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
- inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements.
Housekeeping Job Responsibilities
- Damp Moping of Tiles, floors, staircases, elevators floor, sidewalls and passages
- General cleaning of workstations, cabins, pantry, rest rooms on week days and deep cleaning as and when required on scheduled basis.
- Floors shall be free of dirt, mud, sand, footprints, liquid spills, and other debris.
- Chairs, trash receptacles, and easily movable items shall be moved to clean underneath.
- Wet mopping and cleaning the floors
- Sweep cleaning common areas, cleaning and emptying trash bins
- Cleaning of stairways and handrails
- Emptying all waste paper baskets
- All waste from waste paper baskets/Boi medical waste will be collected and deposited in the waste containers.
